World’s Best Chili

Ingredients

For 10 people ()

  • 2 pound ground beef
  • 46 ounce tomato juice
  • 30 ounce tomato sauce
  • 1.5 cups diced onions
  • 0.5 cups diced celery
  • 0.25 cups diced, bell pepper
  • 0.25 cups ground chilli powder
  • 2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1.5 teaspoon ground garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 0.5 teaspoon white sugar
  • 0.12 teaspoon ground cayenne
  • 2 cups red beans, without liquid

Directions

    1. Cook meat over medium-high until evenly browned. Drain and put aside.
    2. Combine all of the ingredients in to a large pot. Bring to a boil, then immediately reduce the heat and let simmer for one to one and a half hours, stirring regularly.
