Italian Recipe Eggplant Lasagna (Melanzane)

Seasoned Pork Chops

A simple yet delicious recipe for a classic favorite! Makes 6 chops.

Seasoned Pork Chops

Ingredients

For 6 people ()

  • 2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sage
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 6 pork chops (bone in)
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 1 cups water
  • 2 beef bouillon cubes

Directions

    1. In a bowl, combine seasoning (first three ingredients). Season chops by rubbing on both sides. In a large frying pan over medium high heat, melt the butter and then saute the pork chops until golden brown on both sides, about five minutes each side.
    2. In another saucepan, dissolve the bouillon cube in one cup water over high heat, stirring frequently. Pour over the pork chops, reduce heat to simmer, and cover for about forty five minutes.
